The Sprout Pencil is the original plantable pencil, patented and guaranteed to be of the highest quality. In place of an eraser the Sprout Pencil features a water soluble seed capsule and when it becomes too short to write with it can be planted.
All aspects of the Sprout pencil are sustainable and non-toxic – from the biodegradable seed capsule to the 100% natural clay and graphite core and PEFC/FSC-certified wood. All the seeds selected are very easy to grow and the varieties available are: Basil, Coriander, Daisy, Sage and Sunflower - please note the seed variety will be sent at random.
The plantable pencils come attached to a 300gsm backing card, there are 5 designs to choose from and each can be personalised with any name / names.
Please note we do not pack them in a plastic sleeve to avoid unnecessary plastic packaging.
